How does a proximity switch work?
17.05.2018 views:3010

A proximity switch is a type of position limit switch that operates without any direct physical contact with moving parts. When an approaching object being sensed within the detection range, the switch will be actuated without physical contact or pressure to emit control command to PLC. It is used for position limit, object counting, positioning control, and automatic protection in auto-control systems.
