During the working process of glass tempering furnaces, some major faults may turn up such as sudden power failure, system halt, malfunction of the furnace door caused by air source or mechanical problems, glass breakage in the heating furnace or chiller, glass sticking to the ceramic roller, etc. Measures must be taken in such emergencies, or heavy loss may probably come about.

The tempering furnace faults are caused by the following three main reasons:

1. The electric and mechanical problems of the tempering furnace;

2. Wrong parameter setting and button operating caused by the workers;

3. Poor quality of the glass sheets, etc.

In order to avoid the faults of the tempering furnace, we should keep the following in mind:

1. Regular inspections, lubrication and maintenance work must be implemented conscientiously;

2. Only the personnel qualified after training can be allowed to operate the tempering furnace;

3. Patrol inspection is very important when the tempering furnace is running, so that the explosion of the glass and other big faults during the tempering process can be timely discovered.

4. Glass sheet must satisfy the requirement of the production.
