1. When processing curved tempered glass, we will use a standard template to adjust the shape of the lower bending chiller to meet the curvature of the standard template. Any deviation in the adjusting process may lead to a smaller radius of the bent glass. In this case, we should re-adjust the curvature using the template.
2. When the curvature of the lower bending chiller of the tempering furnace is well adjusted, press the bending button manually to make the rollers of the lower chiller fit completely with the template. Write down the height of the arc provided by the computer system and input the value into the parameters for processing such glass. If the value set for the arc height is too large, the radius of the glass under process will be small. The set value should be reduced appropriately.
3. When the glass enters the bending chiller for the quenching process, excessively high air pressure of the lower chiller or the lower wind pressure of the upper chiller will cause a smaller radius of the bent glass. In this case, we should adjust the valve of the air distribution box to reduce the pressure of the lower chiller or increase the pressure of the upper chiller.
4. If the temperature of the upper surface of the glass is too high or the temperature of the lower surface is too low, the interaction of stress between the inner and outer layers of the glass will lead to an increase of shrinkage on the upper surface of the glass in the chiller, causing an increase in the upward bending of the glass and a smaller radius of the bent glass. In this case, we should appropriately adjust the heating temperature of the furnace to reduce the temperature of upper glass surface or increase the temperature of lower surface.
